Here's a bit about me and this story....

Picture
I grew up living a very conventional life like so many!  In 2007 I decided to leave my career path as a social worker/therapist and try something new in the online world ... then in 2008? well, things went south after that!  After a few years of what I call my "monastery in the mountains" of California, I decided to let my home go, sell it all, and see where life would take me in a tiny trailer in the desert southwest!

What I didn't plan on was finding I liked living in a tiny home with wheels and that I was not cut out for the homesteading fantasy that I dreamed of.  Now, seven+ years later I still live in that same tiny trailer on a cow farm, but have a new mission and dream: to convert a horse trailer into a long term home, convert a van into a work/travel vehicle, and begin sharing a message I never would have dreamed of finding.  All of this has been eerily similar to the desert monks of long ago, only in today's world we have video, the internet, and a new road culture emerging that I believe will change everything for those of us who just can't sit still!

Who am I to be on such a mission?

I never set out to spend my life on a mission, but here I am almost 40 years into it.  Before now it just wasn't the right time and I didn't have the full message.  This world is on the brink of great change and we are all being asked to make a choice.  I believe our decision will determine the trajectory of our soul for a very long time.

While I can't tell you who to be or what to do, I can create what is simple, beautiful, and wild to represent what I've learned and the choices I am making in the face of a future that is like a wave coming towards us at full speed ahead.

the old way was of opposing forces. the new way is to understand them as uniting and then, forging ahead. for men, it's like being liquid steel. for women, structured water.  jill
