Okay, it is a good thing it has been raining a lot, New Mexico has been in a drought mode for a long time. But as I sit for the fourth? day in my trailer, praying the leaking isn't has bad as I am afraid it might be, I am ready for a break in this weather!
Of course, it could be worse - I could a sheep or goat or even worse, one of the guard dogs.... they are all wet, dirty, and I will project for them - miserable!
This is Frick, the smallest and most gentle of the three dogs. She's clean compared to most of the time. This is from a few nights ago when I was trying to capture the clouds - can you see how low they are? The other morning I could have sworn I was back in Ireland - with green grass, sheep roaming, and a heavy dew filled fog hanging in the air.
Behind the barn is the mountain range - which is clearly blocked by the clouds resting on the ground!
Freedom and Lilith, as usual, have been much more patient with the smallness our life is experiencing since outside is mostly off limits.
I keep imagining how people with no books, radios, ipads, internet, cell phones, computers, tablets, etc. keep sane. I can barely keep sane with a fairly large range of options... Maybe they don't?
Well, the internet keeps going down and my rear end hurts from sitting.... so see you next time!
Welcome to my Journey!
I'm inviting you to join me on my journey as I seek to find a new way of being in an old set of systems. It's hard, but worth it!
